Società Trasporti Pubblici Monzesi, TPM SpA, was incorporated in 1997, the fruit of the spin-off of A.M.S.A., Azienda Municipale Servizio Autolinee, the town’s first public transport service launched by the City of Monza in 1968. TPM provides a local public transport service in Monza and manages the connections between the town and its municipal neighbours as well as several pay car parking facilities in the Monza area.
The past few years have seen TPM implement a number of ambitious projects in line with its mandate from the City of Monza, enabling it to become a total mobility operator.
The new Public Transport Service, Brianza Trasporti was launched on 1 November 2007. Brianza Trasporti is a new, syndicated company that is 70%-owned by Autoguidovie, Compagnia Trasporti Nord Milano (CTNM) and 30%-owned by Trasporti Pubblici Monzesi (TPM). Brianza Trasporti won the seven-year mandate to manage the public transportation service in Monza and Brianza through a call for tenders issued by the Province of Milan
