TPM buses run on low-sulphur content diesel. Buses purchased after 1992 are classified EURO1 to EURO3, while the most recent vehicles acquired are equipped with catalytic converters that significantly reduce pollution emissions in line with EURO4-class buses. TPM is committed to upgrading its bus fleet as economic resources become available, in line with its dual focus on the use of new technologies and respect for the environment.
TPM owns 37 buses with motorised ramps and two buses specially equipped for wheelchairs. More than 46% of the buses operated by TPM have lowered platforms without steps to make it easier for passengers to get on and off.
Almost 50% of the vehicles have ventilated passenger areas and air-conditioned driver’s booths. In addition, TPM is committed to ensuring that overcrowding on its buses never normally exceeds 80% of the total number of places.
